It proved to be a successful day of racing for Blackzone Coaching athlete François de Vinols. Tackling the testing Turkey 70.3 with aplomb to produce a brand new personal best.

François recorded a sub 4hr 20min time which placed him in the top rankings for his age group on the day. However, the strong performance did fall short of his personal target of a sub 4hr 10min.

Despite this, it was only a few nutritional errors which separated François from success on the day. Our confidence already assured he will achieve it as he progresses onwards to the magical sub 4hr barrier. Where most importantly, he will challenge the professionals for honours.

Above all, it was a great performance.
