Great performances by Alexander MacRae of Ribble Race Team at the Alva Highland Games grass track racing on Saturday. 1st in the devil take the the hindmost which is the photo attached. 2nd in the Scottish 3200m Championship and 6th in the 1600m handicap where he was very heavily handicapped which was actually a really good result. To round this up he road 200miles on Sunday in the annual Bundy 200mile group ride where he averaged a whopping 35km/ph.
It’s been a bit of a frustrating season for him after picking up a virus that he caught racing in Belgium in the early season which has taken a good few months to recover from. Alexander is now starting to find a bit of form. A truly natural talent. Watch this space
