Epic performance by Jonny Rae at Celtman Extreme Scottish Triathlon

He raced as hard as He could on the day to get what we thought was 3rd place on the day, There was a bit of confusion out there in terms of placement due to lightning on the run course and the Celtman team having to make the call and diverting all but two athletes from the second peak. Only 2 people were able to get up and down and another 2 being turned back before the summit of the second peak we are lead to believe. So Jonny was the 3rd person to cross the line however the other 2 were still on course. So the result was 5th. With the way Jonny was making up time on the run I’m sure he would have climbed onto the podium.
