If you’re serious about improving your performance – whether its on the bike, on a run or in the pool – its key that you incorporate a structured weight training session as part of your regular training routine. Ideally 1-3 sessions per week will help develop your strength and deliver better results in your cycling races or triathlons – however its critical that you ensure you’re using the correct technique and build up gradually, so as to minimise the risk of injury.
